DESTINY – A POEM

When the world dances at your feet
To the songs you compose and the music you write
You feel like in heaven
Just as Eve’s Eden

But world is cruel and does not offer much solace
You think of your needs but you are forced to deface
Your soul craves just as you feared
But You can’t really heed
Instead You break out like a bead

The time is come to remove the mask
Why me you ask?
But it’s time and you know it all too well
Just as the routine strike of the bell

To move on is hard
To stay put is bad
A way out?
Or to bite the bait?

You can’t leave it to time
For that will cost you much more than a dime
To douse the burning fire
Will mean much more than killing your own desire!
